Finger-style guitar summit with Hiroya Tsukamoto and Rich Moore in newly refreshed living room

Our July 11, 2025, house concert with Hiroya Tsukamoto and Rich Moore featured two masters of finger-style guitar playing together for the first time.

Hiroya ​is a one-of-a-kind guitarist and composer. Born in Kyoto, Japan, he attended Berklee College of Music and has been performing internationally for over 20 years. Hiroya has released 6 albums and recently placed 2nd in the International Finger Style Guitar Championship. Rich has played our living room many times with his wife and musical partner, Mollie O'Brien, and has played with folks all over the Denver area and beyond including solo, duos, country and western bands, blues bands, studio work - you name it, he's played.

Speaking of our living room, after a decade of hosting house concerts, the space was showing signs of so many shows, so we refreshed the floors, tile, counters, and lighting, and we were delighted to welcome a full house to our refreshed home on July 11. Thanks to David Weihnacht for these photos.
