 The world folk quartet returns to play shows in Denver, Paonia, and Carbondale Once based entirely in Austin, Texas, the members of the world folk quartet Ley Line now reside there, plus in New York and Colorado. The bandmembers converged on the Front Range in July of 2025 for a show at Gilpin Street House Concerts, presented by our friends and mentors, Ellin Rosenthal and Ron Faleide. They next headed to the western slope to open for the Wood Brothers at Big B's Orchard, and they they played a lovely yard show at the home of Joan and Abbott Wallis.  Photo by David Weihnacht Finger-style guitar summit with Hiroya Tsukamoto and Rich Moore in newly refreshed living room Our July 11, 2025, house concert with Hiroya Tsukamoto and Rich Moore featured two masters of finger-style guitar playing together for the first time. Hiroya is a one-of-a-kind guitarist and composer. Born in Kyoto, Japan, he attended Berklee College of Music and has been performing internationally for over 20 years. Hiroya has released 6 albums and recently placed 2nd in the International Finger Style Guitar Championship. Rich has played our living room many times with his wife and musical partner, Mollie O'Brien, and has played with folks all over the Denver area and beyond including solo, duos, country and western bands, blues bands, studio work - you name it, he's played. Speaking of our living room, after a decade of hosting house concerts, the space was showing signs of so many shows, so we refreshed the floors, tile, counters, and lighting, and we were delighted to welcome a full house to our refreshed home on July 11.
